  1. I couldn’t find the link in the 3rd step, is it gone? RIP Gfinance
  2. Just moved over to Yahoo Finance, they have a Google Finance import feature to make the transition easier
  3. Despite the overvaluation, will the returns still be better than holding cash or bonds ?
  4. Yes for the fitness fanatics, Garmin's line of smartwatches are still the dominant brand.
  5. Always thought the rule was 3x gross income... in that example, it looks to be close to 6x gross income?
  6. Anyone look into MRS.cve ? It's a 30 million microcap that provides armored gear to law enforcement and the military. They have received a $400 million 5-year agreement with a foreign government to distribute their products. The market is awaiting the first purchase order to provide some kind of legitimacy to the agreement.
  7. Just in the nick of time to save us from a slow melt occurringin Toronto RE.. thanks uncle Warren
  8. As a local resident in one of the hottest areas in all of Canada and a big beneficiary of Chinese/Iranian money, bring it on!
  9. Who needs to work, the stock market, or business ventures when you can just sit on single detached homes in Toronto and Vancouver !!
  10. Just noticing that it's ridiculously easy to get financing right now through alternative lenders/brokers/private financing route. When in doubt, fake letterheads showing proof of employment can easily be obtained and there's no due dilligence being done to validate/verify these sources whatsoever.
  11. Got any idea as to how much stock management owns in the company?
  12. In other news, "Canadian home prices climb another 1% in biggest February increase on record as Toronto stays strong." "Prices across Canada were up 13.4 per cent compared to a year ago, the biggest 12-month increase since November 2006. Toronto led the pack with a record 23.0 per cent surge."
  13. I personally know quite a lot of individuals partaking in the speculative/investment venture of owning multiple properties despite making nominal income. They are getting the financing through alternative lenders and advise that forging documents to get the necessary down payment is a piece of cake right now. I'm speaking about my experiences in the Greater Toronto Area as it likely will not reflect on the rest of the country (maybe Vancouver). It will be interesting how this unfolds in the next couple of years.
  14. Anyone got any stats as to the CAGR returns for average detached home in Toronto vs. the TSX60/S&P500 indexes?
