  1. Shame I wasn’t smart enough to increase my position on the back of that news! Anyway, many thanks RVP for originally posting on this company. Your posts about David Webb have got me into Lion Rock and Kingmaker Footwear. In a world where almost everything seems overvalued, HK stocks seem to be an exception at the moment.
  2. Agree that the easy money has already been made, but they are still trading at a 30% discount to net assets (nearly all of which is cash) and they are back to making a profit now: https://doc.irasia.com/listco/hk/playmatestoys/announcement/a247638-e_pwannptlmay2021_1.pdf Might just keep holding on until the next turtles movie comes out.
  3. This 9 days old, but I had missed it so maybe other followers did too. (I'm really missing linealdin on this board to spot and analyse such things. I hope he stayed invested to reap some of upside we are currently getting...) N. Chesterfield to acquire substantial copper project in Canada Chesterfield Resources is pleased to announce that it is to acquire a belt scale copper exploration project, called Adeline, in the highly-rated Labrador region of eastern Canada. The project is close to the regional service hub of Goose Bay, and in range of major road and rail infrastructure to the coast. The vendor, Altius Minerals Corporation (together with its affiliates "Altius") TSX: ALS, will become a strategic partner and help manage the project. · Chesterfield to acquire 100% of a globally significant copper exploration project, covering an entire geological basin nearly 40km long, that hosts over 200 known copper occurrences. · Previous prospecting and drilling on the site has encountered high-grade copper-silver mineralisation. Potential for world class discoveries. · Labrador ranked as one of the top ten mining destinations in the world by the Fraser Institute, and is host to several major mines. · Acquisition is via an all-share deal. The vendor, Altius, will be issued 10% of Chesterfield's stock as payment for the project, with an option to purchase a further 10% via a three-year warrant exercisable at 20p. Altius is also entitled to a 1.6% gross sales royalty. Low project expenditure obligations for Chesterfield. · Altius will become a strategic shareholder and will help design and manage initial exploration operations in Labrador on behalf of Chesterfield. https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/chesterfield_resources_plc/news/rns/story/xj3ml7w

  6. https://www.wolfdenresources.com/wp-content-uploads-2021-02-wlffeb222021q-pdf Thunder Bay, Ontario, February 22, 2021 – Wolfden Resources Corporation (WLF.V) (“Wolfden” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce additional positive drill results from its wholly owned Pickett Mountain Property in Northeastern Maine. Results include all assays for the final six holes (see Figure 1.) that targeted the Footwall Zone (FWZ) that was discovered approximately150-200 metres north of the Pickett Mt. deposit. This massive to semi massive sulphide to stringer sulphide lens continues to deliver better than expected silver values. The results to date exhibit continuity and exceptional grades that suggest the FWZ lens could potentially add significant resources to the overall project if the planned drill holes as indicated on Figure 1. yields positive results.
  7. I'm probably being a bit dumb, but is it possible to work out from this transaction what is the implied valuation of Lithium Royalty Corporation?
  8. First copper cathode produced at gunnison (on which ALS has a 1.625% gross sales royality): https://www.excelsiormining.com/news/news-2020/xcelsioriningroducesirstopperathode20201221 First copper sales expected in Jan.
  9. Nice long uplifting interview with Brian Dalton: He thinks the renewables arm of the business could ultimately eclipse all the other elements. As a long standing shareholder (who was initially quite skeptical about the renewables arm), I hope he is right. He certainly sounds confident.
  10. 600,000 Champion shares. Current price = 4.3 AUD per share = 2.58 million AUD = 2.46 million CAD Main value in the royalty though.
  11. Around $10 to $12 million of ARR. The plan was to invest roughly $100 million in renewables to replace the expiring coal royalties. You mean this is the revenue that is expected when the full $100m investment has been converted into paying royalities? (According to their presentation they have only invested $66m so far). If so, is there any estimate on the time it takes between the money being depolyed and the 10-12% income stream beginning?
  12. Does anyone following altius have an estimate of the royalty income of the ARR royalties that are expected to come into production in the next couple of years?
  13. Ramping up the renewables business: http://www.altiusminerals.com/storage/press-releases/2020-10-13-altius-renewable-royalties-forms-joint-venture-with-apollo-infrastructure-funds-1602589566.pdf http://www.altiusminerals.com/storage/webcasts/2020-10-13-arr-conference-call-vpub-1602590486.pdf
  14. I bought some Alderon after the joint Altius/Sprott investment. I figured that with Altius investing in the shares, their interest in the share price and mine would be aligned. But, with them having a security on Kami, our interests were very far from being aligned. A painful lesson. N.
  15. Thanks RVP for this post, this is my kind of stock - a pile of cash trading at a huge discount to its value. It has the added excitement that some of its brands could take off, plus the longer they don't, the more pressure there will be to return the cash pile to the parent. I've taken a position. Cowabunga dude! N.
