Did we drain the swamp yet? His hacienda indeed. And his zombie followers fall for it (thinking he's looking out for the 'little guy') every single time. Now prepare to watch this whistleblower's name dragged through the mud by the zombies willing to do their master's bidding. You’re voting Biden right? ;D

They have to reach the pharynx which is located pretty far in. My buddy had one done for some other test and said it was uncomfortable, burned, and made his eyes water. The videos do look disturbing. He described it as "A prostate exam for your face" ;D

Are you going to get tested now? I am not eligible per prevailing criteria apparently, so no. I've heard that you can pay some doctors $100 for an antibody test. Probably depends on locality and availability though. Dr. Scott G mentioned something about it yesterday.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I’ve looked at this company a few times and it’s interesting but long term I find it hard to be confident in their “moat”. Curious what your quick take is if you don’t mind sharing.

Yea, I dont know but the frauds and hypocrites have been revealing themselves in full color with Biden. At least I've been honest. I could give two shits about how awful a person Trump is or how Biden is a corrupt creep but I could live with him in the WH as well. But the fake contempt people disgusted by Trumps behavior are now showing its all just blabber as they excuse and downplay and rationalize the very same issues with Joe...The #metoo frauds like Milano. Believe all women except when its inconvenient to you, right? Tara Reade doesn't remember what she put in the Senate complaint. She goes out of her way to draw attention to Biden in her complaint filed with the Senate but then doesn't even mention the assault? She complained that he made her uncomfortable and so she was assigned a new spot where she would be away from him. What else are they going to do, reassign Biden? First she went to law school, then a Biden staffer, then a singer, an actress, a cat lady. Her history doesn't point to stability -- drama, yes. Singer, actress -- attention getter. That said, it doesn't for certain mean that she is lying. Those people do exist though and instability and drama are red flags hallmarks. So she is a mix between Julie Swetnick and Christina Ford.... While your response is a reasonable one, people dont get to play this card. Not after how they behaved with the Kavanaugh allegations. Not after the incessant whining about quality of character with Trump. The presumption of innocence was destroyed by liberals over the past 4 years. You dont get it back because your guy is running. Trump is a narcissistic clown, and Biden is a world class establishment creep. Those are our candidate for POTUS. At least lets treat them the same and stop pretending this is a case of Jesus running against Hitler. Try as they might, the Conservatives cannot wash their hands clean when they find one witness against one Liberal. Clinton, yes, there were more cockroaches in the kitchen. When we find another, then another, and another, with Biden we will then know we have a creep. Not even close yet. He's almost 80 and he has been in office for decades and all you've got to show for it is a woman who cannot remember what she complained about in her report.

Amash is worth a look for anyone looking for a candidate that is economically conservative and socially progressive. Not to mention respectful and intelligent. When I thought our candidates couldn’t get any worse than Trump and Hillary....here we are... I’ll leave it at that since this isn’t a political thread. Amash 2020

You could give the money away to a worthy charity. One such worthwhile charity is the Democratic Party :D You’d get a better return giving it to the Italian Mafia

Freedom to pursue happiness (and possibly fail) Has morphed into Freedom to pursue and pursue and pursue and pursue. Failure is now only the result of “interference” and a bailout is now apparently appropriate? Edit: Epic post

Anecdotal story: Since I now have more free time at home I figured I would get a new guitar. Something I could play from the couch (Taylor BT2 Mahogany). Anyways I was originally going to get a Takamine parlor guitar from Guitar Center. I placed this order about a month and a half ago. It was supposed to ship about a week after ordering and take about 2 weeks to get (I could live with the wait). Well I got an email saying it wasn’t going to ship until July! Two weeks after I ordered it. Pulled up a rep online and told them to cancel my order. They said supply chains were severely impaired. I asked if they had something in stock that would ship immediately. I settled on the BT2. Well after another week of waiting the same thing happened again. BT2 ship date changed and what I was told by a rep was in stock apparently vanished....this time it was June. Needless to say, I canceled my order, found it in Amazon 3 days ago and got it delivered yesterday. Currently playing some Neil Young songs.....Amazon is definitely doing something right. Will never order from guitar center again. My wife said I could have just used my other guitar and saved myself the headache :P

You've officially become the house troll here. Greg’s not wrong. Dalala already said “I’d rather vote for a guy who stutters.” I’m waiting for the Biden voters to say “we’re voting for the lesser of two evils.” It’s time Americans take a look at the two party system. The last 40 candidates have been complete and utter shit. Not a single person in the last and current election cycle have been “leaders”. All a bunch of hacks with shady pasts and motives. If you’re voting for Biden, I don’t want to hear a single negative thing about Trump from here on out. They are literally two versions of the same individual.

Trump and Biden are both unfit imo.

I think one issue with BATRA is that in addition to owning a sports team, it is also a real estate developer. Is there any connection to minor league teams? There was a mention of the MLB axing multiple teams. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/sources-milb-ready-to-agree-to-significant-reduction-in-teams/

that all sounds nice. but now rewrite what you wrote, but change SHOP to AMZN and pretend it's 1998. amazon used to trade at what? 40x sales in the 90s? That turned out ok. and back then it was "just a bookstore". it was ONLY collecting a small fee on each sale of...a book. how quaint! They used their customer base to expand into other businesses, something SHOP could potentially do. I'm not even advocating for SHOP, but your analysis is way too simplistic. Sadly, simplistic analyses are all I'm capable of. But just think of how fortunate we are to live in this time. While our predecessors had to settle for just one Amazon, and one Apple, we have dozens of each just waiting to be scooped up by those smart enough to have learnt from the earlier generation's mistakes of omission. I for one am holding out for the next Amazon that is selling for 100x sales. None of that half-baked 50x sales stuff. I mean it's just capital, and if you're not willing to risk it (or some fraction of it) hitting a grand slam, are you even really an investor? M. What would you call Venture Capitalists? Our Google's Moonshot division? I try to be open minded to different strategies and while generally its a value oriented approach, theres more than one way to skin a cat. Venture Capitalists and Google's Moonshot division are the only thing keeping me sane these days. Just when I think the world has gone to hell in a hand basket, I think of the Venture Capitalists, and Google's Moonshot division and my faith in humanity is restored. God bless them one and all, doing the Lord's work. M. "We principally generate revenues through the sale of subscriptions to our platform and the sale of additional solutions to our merchants. Our subscription plans typically have a one-month term, although a small percentage of our merchants have annual or multi-year subscription terms. Our merchants have no obligation to renew their subscriptions after their subscription term expires. As a result, even though the number of merchants using our platform has grown rapidly in recent years, there can be no assurance that we will be able to retain these merchants. In fact, we have historically experienced merchant turnover as a result of many of our merchants being SMBs that are more susceptible than larger businesses to general economic conditions and other risks affecting their businesses. Further, many of these SMBs are in the entrepreneurial stage of their development and there is no guarantee that their businesses will succeed. Our costs associated with subscription renewals are substantially lower than costs associated with generating revenue from new merchants or costs associated with generating sales of additional solutions to existing merchants. Therefore, if we are unable to retain merchants, even if such losses are offset by an increase in new merchants or an increase in other revenues, our operating results could be adversely impacted." But yeah, there is always the next sucker in line to take a shot and pay that subscription. Maybe that's the beauty of Shopify? @BG2008, it's worth noting a lot of these "store fronts" require outsourcing for further web development. But yeah, there is not doubt it's a good product!

Are there any resources to see what's under the hood of Shopify? Not their tech stack, but the businesses that use their tech. It's easy to see the growth/demand in a bull market, but during a downturn I wonder if the world really needs a thousand t-shirt companies selling the same product with their own logo on it. https://www.shopify.com/blog/shopify-stores There are literally hundreds of examples of stores like this.

Perfect cop out. Now shift blame to the states. It's not a cop out. Its called the 10th Amendment. States are to be in charge of heath and public safety. It's the same reason why we have State police and not Federal police in every state. All states (as far as I'm aware) have constitutions that outline public health and safety actions. Here is PA I was talking with a friend who works in the capital. They informed me there is a literally a room with hundreds of binders that have step by step action plans for every conceivable situation. Federal funding and aid does not come until states declare emergency. Many states did not declare emergency for a long time. Now this could be because a lack of leadership and awareness being made from the federal level. At the end of the day decisions and actions were taken and at some point we will have to look back and see what was done and not done correctly. Plenty of blame to go around. Don't get me wrong. There is plenty of blame to go around and the federal actions were piss poor. But the states and even local officials are also to be held accountable. Greg is not wrong about this. Lack of PPE and precautions taken at state hospitals should equally scrutinized alongside the federal response. Supreme court has rules in the past that during extraordinary times the federal govt can step in and temporarily violate the BoR such as 4th amendment. But they were clear that these violations MUST be temporary and within scope of the objective. So all the extra "pork" we are seeing in these Bills is largely unconstitutional. Alongside this, DT actually does have the authority to temporarily lock down the nation from a federal level. Clearly that's supposed to be with discretion, and probably would be handled alongside what States are already implementing.

Movies and TV shows (general recommendation thread)
Castanza replied to Liberty's topic in General Discussion
Great show so far. I'd also recommend ZeroZeroZero (Prime)... similar feel to the movie Sicario. Also, recently added to Netflix: WACO and The Last Dance. I'll check it out, thanks Traveling Salesman (2012) is also decent. - about P vs NP and potential implications - Has a very "indie" feel and can be found on YT for free. -

"The direct use of physical force is so poor a solution to the problem of limited resources that it is commonly employed only by small children and great nations" --David Friedman, "The Machinery of Freedom". Not only do we need to spend trillions to secure these resources, but we also need to prevent investment in renewables because that’s #socialism. Trump bailout for oil workers incoming in 3...2... Subsidies are prevalent on both sides of the energy aisle (GND comes to mind albeit a different flavor). I'm all for clean energy, and I think without all this lobbying, special interests, government intervention, etc. We could have been there a long time ago. Anyways I don't want to derail the thread, but certainly interesting to see considering 100 years of wars have been fought over oil. Always drawing keep the posts coming. Certainly entertaining!
