BG2008
Not sure if this topic has been created yet. But, now maybe a good time to create a wishlist of great companies to buy in case the price do drop that low. Suggestions?
Palantir
Outside of the more discussed firms like AAPL and QCOM, I'm looking at USPH NNUTU (OTC) ELSE IPHS will update later...

What's the thesis on ELSE? Curious as I see Groveland exited late last year.
matjone
I've been watching ELSE. Palantir may have deeper knowledge but I was thinking the main point is that they have a lot of excess cash & securities. I was hoping it would go lower though
tombgrt
Market drops a few percent and we get a topic on wishlists. Another minor example of how little fear and how much greed there is. Only bought index puts with some margin and only if the market drops I'll consider selling them for more long exposure.
rkbabang
AAPL under $300 would certainly be on my wishlist. Or BRK-B under $60. FFH under $300. GOOG under $500.

Regarding your market comment. I personally have a view on China that could prove more problematic than most people anticipate.

jouni1
V and MA would rock at p/e 13. also CFX, DEO, MIDD, PX and TDG. maybe zoetis, i'm still trying to decide if i like them or not. this all depends on how far they drop but these are the ones i'd really like to have at half price. there are also some european (mostly nordic) stocks on my list but i don't think these are of interest to anyone. CFX is on my list along with POST and MKL. Let me know if you come up with any strong conclusions on ZTS and want a sounding board. I'm in the same spot as you on it. I think I might prefer NVS' animal business if they swap it with MRK and MRK spins it out. There is risk in the business of selling antibiotics for livestock, it seems to me.
