Ben Graham Dinner 2014

This year's Ben Graham dinner will be held, as usual, the night before the FFH Dinner and Dr George's Value Conference.  It's designed to be a casual affair for those who are arriving early for the various events on the 8th of April and any locals who want to drop by. 

 

It's a much smaller event than the FFH Dinner.  As a result, we'll just grab a couple of tables at a restaurant near the Fairmont Royal York / Union Station.

 

If you have a restaurant preference, post your suggestion in this thread.

 

To make the reservations, I need to get a head count of the number of people who are likely to attend.  If you'd like to join the festivities, send an email with the subject "Ben Graham Dinner 2014" to

Once it is determined, I'll email the final dinner location to those who email in an RSVP.

The late start date is due to a Cher concert a few blocks away that will inundate restaurants in the downtown core with fans before 7 pm.  I won't hold it against you if you want to go the concert instead – just let me know.  :-)

 

I've reserved a couple of extra spots for last minute visitors.

 

 

For those who are arriving earlier, there will be a very informal gathering at another restaurant.  Basically, I expect to be relaxing downtown for much of the day and will camp out in the Marché (Brookfield Place, street level) starting about 3pm.  However, there are no reservations and it'll probably become a zoo soon after 5pm.  (It's a big place, but I can't promise that you'll find a seat – particularly after 5pm due to the concert goers.)
