My apologies if this has been covered before, but does anyone here subscribe to Whitney Tilson's Value Investor Insight? After the free trial, the subscription is around $30/month. I've managed to get my hands on some older editions, which I've found quite useful, but I'm not really sure if the subscription is worth the money going forward. Thoughts?

i'm not sure you need to pay to learn about value investing. There's so much information already out there, annual letters, portfolio manager updates, books, 13-F's etc. 30/month saved will probably be better in my opinion.

If you want to consider a paid-for resource, I would suggest either going for a data service such as Y-Charts, or pony up some more $ for something like the Manual of Ideas or Grant's. But I agree there is plenty of free resources out there to generate more ideas than you need in any given year. You may have seen the following one, but if not the resources page of Graham-and-Doodsville is a pretty good place to dig around:
