misterkrusty
anybody know a way to request the powers-that-be to list new LEAP options? For example, i'd love it if I could buy Jan 2018 puts on Dean Foods, but currently the options only go out to Jan 2017. Like WEB has said, it's usually easier to know what's going to happen than when it's going to happen, so I like plenty of time for these short stories to crack. And LEAPs also make it possible to have a 15% tax rate on your gains.
WideMoat
Just looking at the open interest in the Jan 2017 series (600 call contracts and 1200 puts), it would be tough to make the case. You could create a FLEX option, the minimum size is 150 contracts. You can definitely find a market at the right price, what did you have in mind? constructive
Here's the link to request a new option. http://www.cboe.com/AboutCBOE/ContactCBOEEmail.aspx?Topic=New+Option+Listing+Requests I've never done it, but I think I remember reading someone else on COBAF had used it successfully. Green King
I've found pricing data and open interest. Please do share you experience if you had made a trade before. http://www.optionsclearing.com/webapps/flex-reports
