chrispy
I am content with my investments and don’t plan on purchasing anything new until 2017 (when I can add more to my roth ira), barring no huge market swing. While there are a few holdings that are on my radar, I have very little interest in tracking their every day, every hour, movements. I am trying to find a tool that can alert me when my holdings, and equities on my radar, have had a noteworthy change in their market price (~10%). Are there any tools that you guys use to track holdings over time and not just their daily fluctuations? From my experience, looking at my investments less and keeping my mind on work and just enjoying life has always worked better for me then checking stock prices every day and trying to justify their movement. Jurgis
Fidelity has email/phone app alerts based on absolute size or percentage moves I believe. You should look around what your broker provides.
