Toddalphatree
Hey Guys, New to the forum here. Been reading through the forum for years, and finally decided to make an account As a quick intro, I'm a big value investing guy, with a bit of a focus on special sits., mainly in the small and microcap space. Worked for a few years as a credit analyst, before moving to the buy side at a value-based asset manager, and now manage money for family and friends, as well as teaching college students and recent grads about value-investing. Came across this interesting situation recently. Anyone here familiar with AtmanCo? The legacy business offered psychometric tests to help companies and HR departments hire the right people, build smarter teams, etc. Relatively boring, but sticky business, that wasn't close to profitability. What sparked my interest was an acquisition they made recently of a Telco company, Voxtel, which when combined with AtmanCo, actually shifts the company to profitability if you do your DD. Acquired it for about 4x EBITDA, which looks cheap but there's big exposure to a landline business segment. Essentially the acquisition gives them a few years of cash flow breakeven to slightly profitability for them to build out their mass market solution, which aims to almost become the 'facebook login' of personalizing different apps specifically for you. I put together a more detailed overview here: http://alphatreeinvesting.com/atmanco-how-to-invest-in-a-profitable-company-before-the-market-notices/ Big opportunity on the information arbitrage side of things in my opinion, since there's little disclosure on VoxTel's financials and future projections unless you're willing to call the CFO up and ask. No investor deck on the company's website either. From there you get a free call option on the company's mass market solution taking off. Curious to hear some thoughts.
