BAYRY - Bayer AG

I agree. Although i wouldn't consider Baumann a bad CEO. The shareholder communication is somewhat tricky because of the ongoing litigation and they don't want to talk a lot about their product-pipeline. What i can somewhat understand in this business. I would call it prudent. But they spend a whole lot of R&D. ($8,6 bn in 2020)

I own it and added some in the dip, too. I like, that Baumann did the same:

And thanks for the link. I didn't even knew about the business.

Baumann owns the Monsanto takeover that has cost shareholders dearly. He should have been canned a while ago. I prefer to see some “heads on sticks” as far as management is concerned, as a deterrent for similar future endeavors .

OK, thats true. I'm wearing the post-merger-glasses and for me (i think) it was a good entry point. But you're definitely right on the capital allocation-part. And i can understand all that anger. The price was way to high.

I bought Bayer post merger too, but it doesn’t matter. Not only was the price paid too high, they also didn’t really consider the baggage that came with Monsanto.

I generally think that the people who create a problem, aren’t the right one to solve it.
