I have been sitting texting with the daughter of the Lady of the House this evening - it's a day off work here in Denmark - even the Danish Stock Exchange is closed to day - she is in the middle of a nasty divorce, and at a concert with her friends this evening:

 

Me: "Next time a man hits on you  [she is a real beauty - like her mother], please make sure making him reply to, if he can make you rich, or not!"

 

She: "Haha - got it!"

Not much difference between CoBF and IRL ...

I tend towards unconventional thought which has always made me a bit of an outsider & I think that's part of Scott's appeal to me (that & the fact that he's a top notch analyst...)

 

He jars us with his trollish behavior & provokes out of the box thought (like Morrison but with a vague melody)

 

You're not a troll, but even so, you've forced me to think around the edges.

 

I consider you both my virtual friends & apologize for any valueless shit I may post here.

 

P.S. I just got a copy of the 2000 ed of Walker's Manual of Penny Stocks (Walker's Unlisted's is coming)

 

the preface says "Only a fool would so much as glance at a penny stock..." (taken somewhat out of context but I still gotta wonder if the "fool" reference was intentional...)

I am a Doors fan. The attached photo was Manzarek's last appearance at the Whiskey, which is a couple minutes walk from my daughter's place.

I think it's actually ballsy by Scott to go into abrupt CoBF detox on volunteer basis. Such a cold turkey is a tough one! I would certainly prefer gradually lowering the daily dose over some time!

 

I think we need a song now - this one by Elvis will do it!

 

Written communication in general - and especially on a message board - can be a very difficult thing! ... ref. attached.
