Voodooking
An acquaintance was kind enough to share this with me, and I thought it might be of interest to others on here. 'Big Walt' was one hell of a guy. Lots to learn from him. https://www.walterschloss.com/?__s=mknswy1vqizqftsnn85q
Cigarbutt
The collection of articles just shows how markets have changed. In one of the articles, Mr Schloss explains how he "evolved" when he "lowered" his standards and moved from net-nets to look at book value opportunities. I really wonder what he would do today. LR1400
I wonder as well. I assume more overseas. Maybe he would’ve closed his partnership. I don’t see him making the transition to value in relation to long term growth like Buffet did. Cigarbutt, where do you think he would go?

This is speculation but, from what I've read on him, I don't think he would have invested outside the US. His long term record is impressive and outperformance continued up to the end. Linked below are two potentially interesting items: https://www.scribd.com/document/35524657/Walter-Schloss-List-of-Stocks https://www.valuewalk.com/walter-schloss/ He made most of his money from deep value investing but it seems that he made some money shorting Amazon and Yahoo before the dot-com! I really wonder what he would do today.
