Fairfax Week Feedback: 2018 edition

I thought it was a great week for the friends of Fairfax, but there is always room for improvement.  Those of us who organize and run some of the events will be getting together to talk about making things even better next year.

We'd like your feedback!  Feel free to respond in this thread or if you'd like anonymity, shoot me a PM.

I wasn't able to attend one event this year because it was held at the same time as another.  So, your feedback is particularly important.

To help get things started here are a few changed to my events that I'm considering.

The Early Bird:  The event will likely be moved to a different pub based on the uneven food service.  Alternate ideas are welcome.

Farnam Street Irregulars Coffee:  We've outgrown the Tim Hortons near the Royal York.  We'll likely move this one to Marché Mövenpick in Brookfield Place.

Diehard's Coffee:  Again a move is probably in order.  Phil had a good suggestion for an alternate that we'll probably use next year.  But the seating is still a little limited.  (Finding a coffee spot with a good deal of seating in the downtown core is pretty difficult.  If you know a good place, let me know.)

If you'd like to see something new or multiple streams of programming, let us know.

I thought that I'd bump up this thread now that everyone is back from the FFH-BRK tour.

So, if you've any FFH week feedback or ideas for next year, please let me know!

Norm, my main piece of feedback is to thank you for all the organizing and communicating that you do for the week . . . including soliciting feedback to make the events better.  -RtF

You're welcome, it's a pleasure!

I'll second this. It was absolutely great. I wish I had came to Toronto on the first day of the event chain. Thank you Norm!
