Warren Buffett of cheeseburgers?

That could be one of the dumbest financial articles I've ever read in my life!  This guy looks like he puts up stories for the shorts.

- The first comment...$50M isn't much to do anything with...so apparently Buffett and Walmart started out with billions and Sardar doesn't have a chance to compete.

- The second point...so if McDonalds is suffering, then SNS is necessarily suffering...but the last quarter's results prove the opposite...same store sales and traffic are up huge at SNS.  Their market is also different than McDonald's global market.

- The last point, that at this time next year SNS could be looking for a buyer...rubbish!

Cheers!

What a puff piece!  The real story is how a moribund company regained its focus and started to throw off free cash under outstanding management.  It will be a fun and profitable ride if there's a bear raid.

Didn't Jim Cramer already fail at that McDonald's comparison earlier? The author might want to read Mr. Biglari's well thought out letter and corresponding report to shareholders regarding his restaurant "trade" analogy. I believe he said, we traded checks for traffic, as in foot traffic for driving more sales, which were more profitable in the end.

If they wanted to be less silly, they might as well assume Sardar will compound that $50M cash at twenty percent annually while giving it a ten multiple (< five year before tax doubles) to a $500M market cap for starters!

In that way, everything else including all the operating businesses, real estate, and investment holdings are FREE!

Three Hundred Sixty price per share is near.

Now that this young, Persian King, is about to embark upon managing the "float" of an insurance company by placing it underneath his umbrella, I am raising my target to FOUR HUNDRED price per share by tomorrow, or $20 before reverse split.

Indeed, that's still where SNS was in the more meaty part of its growth phase, before its mismanagement problems began, and prior to Mr. Biglari's entrance with all the other "baggage" he brought along!  ;D

Why do FOOLS listen to James Cramer, who fronts for a criminal cabal? It's DAMN EXPENSIVE to do so!
