Liberty
I thought this was an interesting piece: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-02-12/the-colgan-air-crash-helped-keep-90-million-flights-safe "The reforms have contributed to an unprecedented decade of safety: There hasn’t been another accident with multiple fatalities on a U.S. passenger carrier anywhere since the Colgan disaster. In fact, only one passenger death." [...] "there were 474 deaths on passenger carriers in the decade prior to the Colgan crash. That doesn’t include the 265 people killed on planes in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, which are classified as criminal acts rather than accidents." Some interesting discussion of it: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19145347
