Ben Graham Dinner - Toronto 2019

Hi everyone,

 

We are continuing the tradition and hosting a dinner on the Tuesday night before the Fairfax AGM.  Unfortunately, Joe Badali's has shutdown so we are changing venues this year.

 

We have bought out the Amsterdam Bicycle Club on The Esplanade in Toronto and will have the place to ourselves for the night (5:30PM to 10:30PM).

 

The format will be roughly the same but the venue is a little more casual than previous years.

Details: Come anytime after 5:30pm, we will be ordering food around 6:30pm. 

 

The format will remain a an "a la carte" menu, and everyone will receive their own bill.

 

Space is limited so please RSVP by e-mail at bengrahamdinner@gmail.com to reserve your seat.

 

Please include your first and last name as well as your favorite long or short stock ticker which will be included on your name tag (Not FFH, BRK or MKL).  Please don't sweat your stock picks, they are just a conversation starter!

 

IMPORTANT:  Because we have bought out the venue for the evening, the establishment has made us guarantee that we will hit a certain minimum total bill.  If you attend, we ask that you please spend at least $20 to help us hit that minimum (so we don't have to cover the difference).

I wish I could go, but unfortunately not this year. I've already got my trip booked for the CSU AGM on May 2 (will probably do drinks with whoever wants to come the night before downtown), and two trips to Toronto in less than a month is a bit too much for me...

Hi everyone,

 

We are now at capacity for the dinner.

 

We actually had way more interest than anticipated so have decided to utilize the bar seating in the venue to accommodate as many guests as possible.

 

If you have not yet confirmed your attendance, we will not have a seat for you.  However, you are welcome to join us for drinks a little later in the evening if you don't mind standing.  We should have a guest speaker again this year (though we never make promises) and that should be around 7-7:30pm.
