Does diluted share count in 10-q and 10-k include compensation plans in def14s?

The treasury-stock method assumes that the proceeds of exercise would have been used to buy common stock in the market. So options that are in the money (using an average market price over the reporting period) will cause an incremental (dilution) change of shares outstanding.
