A Big Thank You!

 

I'd like to thank everyone who helped to make Fairfax Lollapalooza 2019 a huge success.

 

Kudos to Prem and the FFH family for founding the value investing feast and for supporting it for all these years. 

 

Hats off to Dr. George for his conference and student stock competition, which I thought was even better than last year.

 

A special thanks to Sanjeev, Alnesh, Nicole, and their team for continuing the dinner and their efforts.  The dinner was quite intimate this year.

 

By all accounts James East created something special with his YYX Toronto Value event.

 

Phil handled the move of the Ben Graham dinner to a new location with aplomb and gusto.  He provided a great night to all.

 

A special shout out to Francis Chou, who continued his long tradition of shepherding special guests to many of the events.

 

Behind the scenes, Rob and Trevor provided some elbow grease. Many thanks to the plethora of people I've not included here who made the big events run smoothly.

 

A big thank you to one and all!

Please let us know if you'd like to see any changes (modifications, additions, etc.) for next year.

 

I've been told by Sanjeev that many of the events will likely return to the Royal York next year, which will allow for the return of the popular pre-dinner drinks event.  (It was put on hiatus this year due to space constraints.)
