rkbabang
I don't even know what to say, so I'll just post it without comment: Nil by mouth "I mentioned that I can no longer eat or drink. A reader wrote: "That sounds so sad. Do you miss it?" Not so much really. Not anymore. Understand that I was never told that after surgery I might lose the ability to eat, drink and speak ... Yet I could if I wanted to right now close my eyes and re-experience an entire meal at Steak 'n Shake, bite by bite in proper sequence, because I always ordered the same items and ate them according to the same ritual. It is there for me." --Eric
Parsad
It's amazing what happens to people when they experience a life-changing challenge. That was a fantastic article by Ebert, and I think his blog may be the best writing of his life by far! He wasted his time as a movie critic. Cheers! I dunno, you have to have experienced a lot of life before you can really write like that. So the movie critic days were part of the prelude...
