newyorkminute
Anyone looking at Okta, inc? I'm working as an IT security consultant and over the last years I've seen all my clients moving their identity management for both internal and external tooling (e.g. AWS) to Okta. They also seem to be the top pick in the magic quadrants for identity management by Gartner. I'm witnessing the shift to more remote work as we speak, and identity management / single sign-on solutions will play an even more important role. But buying on an all-time high is always challenging. Anyone has some thoughts?
gjangal
Top pick in the space with little to no competition. But valuations looks really stretched , even for SAAS companies

In the SAAS era, AMZN is truly a widows and orphans stock :).
Jurgis
How is Okta better than Microsoft single sign-on solutions?
gjangal
Lots of integrations already pre built. Might have changed now in AD single sign on. Admin functionality, audit trail and metric tracking are better in Okta. In a nutshell more feature rich than AD single sign on and also first mover advantage
lnofeisone
How is Okta better than Microsoft single sign-on solutions? I had a chat with a friend who was tangentially involved in deploying Okta. What I've been told is that Okta is super easy to deploy, they are very responsive, provide great support and flawless documentation. Going MSFT SSO to Okta is very easy. MSFT has nearly all the features that Okta offers but can be a pain to deal with at times. I'd love to learn what are other differentiators out there. I'd also love to hear if anyone has a take on Okta vs. Duo.
