ValuePadawan
Interesting video and idea, I love listening to Cliff. CDLX discussion starts at 32:30 but I enjoyed the whole thing.
chrispy
Cliff's thesis is quite compelling. It does seem like Cardlytics is entrenched enough with the banks where 2bn valuation is on the safer side. Additionally, he showed many possibilities on how the business could be magnitudes larger and even more entrenched With regards to the user experience, my wife and I both mobile bank but have not used one of the deals procured by cardlytics. We looked at her Chase app last night and nothing was that compelling. Kindle offer was nice but would require switching the card temporarily used by our Amazon account (friction)

That being said they seem far enough ahead where it would be really tough for anyone to catch them from a standing start. I'm amazed how he can create this futurescape of how the company will evolve and just casually stroll through all the developments he thinks they will make as if it is determinate. I'm going to keep my eye on CDLX for sure and Cliff's 13F as well.
