boilermaker75
Speaking of options - does anyone have a good resource to find options pricing? By "good" here I mean quick to access, easy to select strikes, and intuitive to view. My brokers all have this information in one way or another, but it's quite a hassle to log in, navigate to the options pricing/chain section, etc. etc. etc. Wondering if there's an easy resource out there on the web. I really like Schwab's StreetSmart Edge. Here is a screen shot of the option trading tool. You just type the stock symbol in the box in the upper left and voila. You can see the pull-down menus are straight forward. It is worth opening an account to have this tool.
LC
I never thought to check Schwab's offering, I have my wife's accounts there. I assumed it to be too "retail friendly" to have a competent offering - thanks for correcting me. May sell some slightly OOM Berkshire puts in gratitude :D

matthew2129
Does anyone happen to know whether if you exercise call options you defer 100% of the taxes until you sell the underlying?

You mean on a covered call? I would imagine it would get treated as capital gains or loss, but I am not sure which jurisdiction you reside in. Your broker is your best bet
