value-is-what-you-get Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Driving from Toronto to Florida there are plenty of Steak N Shake outlets advertised primarily on those green signs saying what's available at the next exit. The thing I noticed was that some (3) sported the new logo while most (over 10) still had the old logo. The dilemma is that the old logo is really easy to read and the new one is more or less unreadable unless you know what it is already. I'm assuming the principal customer for these locations is the Interstate motorist. The most effective pitch for food we saw was a billboard that read (Easy Off, Easy On Freeway) - nothing to do with food but not a wild goose chase which sure appeals to the tired driver looking to save time 8) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
