Viking
A couple of years ago I used to look forward to reading the monthly commentary of a person named Enrico Orlandini. The articles were entertaining, well written, quite pessimistic and touted gold. I then moved on to other things and the articles appeared less frequently. Today, for no reason I decided to do a search and get an updated letter from Enrico. I was sad to read that Enrico Orlandini is actually a pen name for one Eric Bartoli who is wanted by the SEC for fraud. It appears he has struck a second time in the past decade. Fortunately, I have never felt compelled to invest with these sorts of situations (he lives in Peru). The lesson is it pays for one to do their due dilligence to ensure there is a legit business behind the tout... http://www.sec.gov/investor/alerts/bartoli.htm
