Not necessarily, it always comes down to what price paid to get this :) This is no surprise though, Google considers Facebook to be its biggest competitor, and MSFT has an ownership stake in Facebook and it's already partern with them on search. txlaw Posted October 14, 2010 Author Share Posted October 14, 2010 Well, the point is that MSFT is taking the appropriate steps to make Bing a somewhat viable competitor with GOOG globally. Partnering with Facebook, Yahoo, and Alibaba are all good steps in that direction. Not to say that they will succeed, but someone on another thread (I believe it was twacowfca) pointed out that Google's position is not unassailable, though there is clearly a wide moat around the biz.
