Partner24
It's been 2 years now that Warren Buffett published his point of view in the New York Times. Just two years, but the climate was different then. Investment community was in panic. Dow Jones was in the mid 8000's range and the S&P 500 in the 800's-900's range. Cheers! http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/17/opinion/17buffett.html
stahleyp
That was an amazing article. It certainly gave me more confidence...then the Dow dropped another 20% or so after the article was published. I was really happy with that! I do wish I knew whether or not he was still 100% american stocks or if he's moved onto other countries, asset classes, etc.
Guest ValueCarl
You would be wise to follow the manufacturing trends and employee bases he utilizes here, since having taken them out of the Pritzker Family hands, for such answers. Recently, I posted his 2003 Fortune, "trade imbalance," partial currency solution, one that incorporated "Import Certificates(IC's), which somehow got lost. I hope that doesn't happen to this post. http://www.marmon.com/MemberCompanies.asp?Member=true
