BargainValueHunter
http://blogs.barrons.com/focusonfunds/2010/11/18/fairholmes-berkowitz-increases-stake-in-aig/ Fairholme Capital, which runs the popular Fairholme Fund (FAIRX), said Thursday it had increased its stake in American International Group (AIG). The company already was the largest private shareholder in the insurance provider. Fairholme now holds slightly less than 40 million shares worth $1.7 billion as of today’s closing price. The fund company’s holdings now represent about 29% of the stock that isn’t controlled by the government, according to a Dow Jones Newswires report. JEast
BarginValueHunter, Nice tag line. I believe Benjamin Franklin is also widely quoted as saying that compound interest "is the eight wonder of the world". In his biography discussing his business, "after getting the first hundred Pound, it is more easy to get the second: Money itself being of a prolific nature".
