linealdin
777’s 3.876 million tonnes of reserves are set to deplete in Q4 2021. There’s another 1.4 million tonnes of indicated and inferred resources. Another year or two of production beyond 2021 if Hudbay’s engineers are successful. Mine life lasting to Q4 2023 would be excellent.
linealdin
If we assume C$3.25 million in Q2 2018 royalty revenue total revenue from 777 is ~C$34.5 million. Purchase price for Callinan is C$67 million net (C$112 million purchase price - C$45 million in cash and equity investments). 51.5% payback in 3.2 years. Another 3.5 years of C$3.25 million a quarter, taking us through Q4 2021 = potential additional revenue of C$45.5 million. Total potential royalty revenue from 777? C$80 million. Low IRR based upon the C$67 million purchase price but obviously that excludes all the other realized and unrealized potential from the Callinan portfolio (Cuale royalty, Gunnison royalty, Evrim shares, Excelsior shares, Irish Adventus seed position, etc.)
linealdin
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/PXX/02000000.pdf More intervals of visible copper gold mineralization found at PolarX’s Zackly deposit. This drill hole is 100 meters below all existing holes at Zackly. The Zackly skarn seems to be getting significantly thicker as they drill deeper. This is probably the easiest way to expand the 3.4 million tonne Zackly deposit: just keep following the mineralization down for another 500 meters. linealdin
constantine drill results https://ceo.ca/@nasdaq/constantine-drills-288-meters-at-90-zinc-35-lead Altius owns only 3% of Constantine, very modest compared to the other participants in the recent $10 million private placement: Electrum owns 21% and John Tognetti 14%. Given that caveat Constantine does have an excellent VMS deposit with Palmer (8.125 million tonnes at 16% zinc equivalent including barite) ripe for expansion. One of the highest grade undeveloped zinc deposits on the planet. They may have a VMS district of 5 or more deposits if these excellent new drill results are followed up. The Altius 3% equity beachhead may create future royalty financing opportunities on Palmer.
linealdin
IOC in Q2 produced 1 million tonnes of concentrate and 0.5 million tonnes of pellets, but only sold a combined 0.4 million tonnes of concentrate and pellets. So there's an extra 1.1 million tonnes of product on the wharf waiting to be sold in Q3. IOC's guidance for 2018 has been revised downwards to 15.33 million to 17 million tonnes to account for the strike stoppage of production (originally 19.6 million to 21.3 million tonnes guidance). Loss of 20% of annual production.

linealdin
adventus picks up $9.2 million https://ceo.ca/@newswire/adventus-zinc-closes-c92-million-private-placement Altius picked up 366,667 Adventus shares in this financing. An investment of C$330,000, very small potatoes. Letting Wheaton take most of the high priced shares. Pumping the brakes on buying shares of ADZN, as many of you hoped for. linealdin
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/PXX/02000343.pdf New PolarX presentation. I think they have a chance to double or triple the existing 3.4 million tonne resource at Zackly this summer exploration season. Very good hits so far on drill holes 850 meters along strike and at 100 meters below all previous drilling. Thicker mineralization than expected. Predict $8000 per tonne ($3.63 per pound) by 2022 and $9000 per tonne (US$4.08 per pound) by 2028. Their longterm copper price from 2023 onwards is US$3.40 per pound. Trade war fears overblown. Copper price has floor at current price because high cost copper mines come under presssure in the low $6000’s.

Also 16 meters of 88 g/t silver. Not sure what to make of the results. More drilling next season. These grades (if the silver is converted to gold equivalency) are generally in line with other gold mines and deposits owned by majors in the Maricunga belt: Refugio (Kinross): 390 million tonnes at 0.7 g/t gold Cerro Casale (Barrick/Goldcorp): 1200 million tonnes at 0.6 g/t gold Caspiche (Goldcorp): 810 million tonnes at 0.67 g/t gold If EMU is unable to locate higher grade zones at Vidalita then their path will be to establish enough low grade tonnage to sell the deposit. Even 0.6 g/t gold can be of interest to a major in the right location and tonnage.

Their goal is to double or triple the 3.4 million tonne Zackly deposit with drilling this season, while at the same time preparing some of the potentially much larger porphyry targets for their first drill holes. The head of exploration at Millrock, who is running program for PolarX, discovered the Pebble and Donlin copper/gold deposits. This is the land of giants. If PolarX triples the Zackly deposit size and maintains grades = 10.2 million tonnes at 1.2% copper, 2.0 g/t gold and 14 g/t silver. Would still be a small deposit but getting closer to being economic. If they find an underlying porphyry 1/10 the size of Pebble it would be a game-changer. A lot of UK and Aussie risk capital funding this expensive drill program. Altius still benefiting from the Millrock deal they made a decade ago. Shift to higher grade concentrate and pellets is here to stay. Vale is not mentioned because they've got the higher grade resources in Brazil. Gradually being diluted as new strategic investors jump in to finance at higher stock prices. 2) Focus on Q1 2019. Plan to release updated resource and PEA for Curipamba before PDAC in March 2019. I expect the resource to grow, the grades to reach 6% copper equivalent, and a post-tax NPV above US$250 million. 3) Strategic development options still being discussed for the Irish properties. Possibly multiple funding partnerships?

Can now invest in development stage royalties, as opposed to only producing royalties. 2) PG equity portfolio is worth C$1.40 per share (more including the Champion debenture and the Aethon shares). My belief is that the PG portfolio will be worth C$10 or more per share during this bull cycle. 3) Includes royalty breakdowns for Q2. Chapada C$4.5 million. Rocanville C$2.5 million. 777 C$3.2 million.

Love the news flow. They are at the beginning of a 5k meter drill program. Biggest 2018 drill program in the Altius PG portfolio besides the 10k meter program by Wolfden. Two successful stepout holes along strike and one good hole at depth so far. Zackly may be the most promising exploration prospect after Cuale. petec
Hi all & Linealdin in particular. I'm starting a deep dive into Altius and I would find it hugely useful if you could include info on why each piece of news is relevant to Altius. Doesn't have to be much - e.g. "Altius 10% royalty" or "Altius option to buy 10%" but it would really help me understand the significance of each post. Sorry for my ignorance! As for the recent postings on PolarX: Altius has a direct 2% royalty on Zackly which PolarX is getting some promising looking drill holes on. They also own 5% of Millrock, which in turn has a royalty on Zackly and an equity position in PolarX. It’s looking like a real discovery to me.
