lessthaniv
Ever reviewed some the new vertical farming businesses starting to emerge? Just curious if you have an opinion.
ubuy2wron
Just saw your post was about to provide a link. Interesting thought provoking but prolly not money making commentary. Mr G spends time talking about the inadequacy of the capitalist system in finding mkt based solutions for problems that may take 200 years plus to evolve. It is interesting if one reads the Dhando investor the best moats do not often last much more than a generation. I suspect that investing in the top 5 largest co,s and holding for a decade has resulted in less than mkt beating returns.
oldye
http://www.economist.com/node/17647627 I think its great that our civilization is starting to think about these problems now. Luckily for us just about every element is found in sea water and with enough incentive someone will figure out a way to extract it. Like Charlie Munger says, just about anything can be accomplished given a cheap source of energy and an efficient way to store it.
