ericd1
With Quicken I download all my transactions from the brokers. (Fidelity, Schwab and TDAmeritrade) Nothing manual unless there's a spin-off, name change or misc transaction. From Quicken I can export about whatever I need into Excel. Works for me
Guest misterstockwell
I used to use Captools, which was quite good(but you paid for it!). Now the brokerages are required to figure out basis and report gains/losses on 1099's, so no need for any software.
