Parsad
IMF managing director Christine Lagarde, who has been about the only European leader actually trying to move things forward over there, says that things are escalating and nations need to work together. Deaf ears Christine...deaf ears! http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-12-15/imf-s-lagarde-says-escalating-european-crisis-requires-more-cooperation.html Frankly, other than coordinated monetary and fiscal policy, I don't think the U.S. should help. No one over there wanted to help during 2008, and I remember some very, very harsh words for the U.S. by European leaders. Now they don't want to work together to solve a problem that they easily could if the will and compromise was there. Suck it up Europe! ;D Cheers! Hawk4value
I think her comments, referring to women having a special skillset with which to deal with the ongoing European crisis, are out of left field and quite bizarre. I am sure this is one reason she got the invite from Hillary Clinton. Thats Hillary always "selling".
