Guest valueInv
http://venturebeat.com/2012/03/29/android-profits/ If the article is correct, Google averaged $135 Million per year in Android revenue. With their mobile rev at $2.5 Billion, it means that Apple is contributing more than $2 Billion a year to Google. If Apple takes 30% of the cut, it's making about $660 M from Google. This seems low. Maybe they're not counting search revenues to keep Oracle from getting a cut. If so, where is the $135 M coming from? They don't make money from app sales as that goes to the operator. What Android revenue is Apple taking a cut out of? Google's Android revenue comes from ads, which I don't believe Apple has any involvement in.
