Added new option for 55+, underestimated the number of 40+, but I guess this makes sense- it's better to spend your time  investing AFTER you've made your fortune the employee way.

I'm looking forward to the seniors discount.  (I think some might start as early as 55)  My parents are making out like bandits.  Oh, and they're getting cheap stuff too.  ;)

I hadn't even heard of Buffett until I was in my mid-twenties. Only heard of Fairfax when I was in my early thirties. Right around when they established their CDS positions. I think I found them because I was looking up CDS's.

I think it would be interesting to see the age breakdown of people under 25 (both on the board now and when they started posting). I think that I was like 22 when I started posting on here and might have been 19 when I read the MSN board? People like Alex Bossert were WAAAAAY younger in getting their start.
