muscleman - you are fully invested to the point that you do not have even half-a-percent in cash? Even less assuming that FIATY is not 100% of your Fidelity portfolio. That is ...WOW!! No options for FIATY - so you have no puts to hedge your FIATY exposure. Are you always fully invested like this? Just curious.

I am 90% invested. I have a checking account that has the cash but it would take 5 business days  to transfer to IB. For Fidelity, it is my prior employer's 401k, so there is no way to transfer cash into.

I use Ally's checking account, paying 0.6% interest, which is far better than IB, which pays 0 for cash interest, so it does not make sense to put in too much cash.

I got my new shares today in IB. The ADR fee is 0.01/share.

Are you saying the ADR cancellation fee is 0.01 instead of 0.05? Where did you get that number?

I looked at my IB account and it shows an ADR fee for Fiat 0.01/share. Not sure if it's ADR cancellation. But I didn't see any other fees.

I also have IB and I couldn't find any fees. Perhaps they will show up tomorrow but as of today they are not on my activity statement (normally ADR fees are on there).

I looked at my YTD statement. Under Fee, there is a 0.01/share fee charged on 8/5/2014 for FIATY. Maybe it's not cancellation fee.

That's the yearly fee they started charging on ADRs of companies that don't pay a dividend (with dividend stocks they withhold it on the dividend). IB send communiques out earlier in the year about this (for ADRs in general).

In relation to the NYSE IPO, I'm wondering how liquidity may be picking up for FCAU. I remember reading that Sergio wanted to see 60% traded on NYSE vs 40% in Italy to rate the IPO a success. Last I checked, volume figures still indicated far greater volumes in Milan. Curious if others have been monitoring such liquidity factors...
