wow, lots of shareholder turnover here...

I personally hope it is John Stayduhar selling and "active" concerned shareholders buying.

I see John Stayduhar as a potential wildcard and prefer Groveland, Ancora, Jay, etc. I can't find much on the guy other than he lives in a small condo, accidentally ran over a kid, and according to the SODI transcript, has no contact with the company and received his shares from the BK many years ago.

Anyone have additional info on him?

But it may be other guys we already know about just changing hands.

Wow, that's some due diligence! Stayduhar previously was chairman (and I believe for a period ran) SODI, so these are legacy shares.

I think he's a willing seller, so it's quite possible it's John. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Ancora, as I think they're a bit fed up with the situation. I'm very intrigued to see who the new 5%er is.

I want to have an opportunity to discuss my ideas with the CEO first and meet the other shareholders to see whether something can be done about the capital allocation strategy. This is going to be a very long term holding for me! However, if the current board remains uncooperative, I might go active.

Hielko - I see the filer is from the Netherlands, and you are as well. Do you know this group?

Only what I Googled today. You can find some background on the hedge fund here: http://www.iexprofs.nl/Column/Opinie-Productrecensies/92624/Mayflower-1776-doet-als-Buffett.aspx (you probably need Google Translate) and returns: http://www.iexprofs.nl/Product/2326/Mayflower-1776-Value-Fund.aspx

Apparently you really do believe "Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."

To prep you for those discussions, Shevach will claim there is too much uncertainty (legal issues, now resolved; availability of wafers sized to their capital equipment, etc) to loosen the purse strings. However, he stated in the 10K they only need approx $300k in capex for FY2015. I think he is very weary of any and all outside shareholders.

I'm certainly open to suggestions you have.

Just trying to keep tabs on who owns what %, I see that the proxy says that Stayduhar's shares are based on a verbal statement from May 2012. Very possible that he's not in it at all. Has anyone spoken to him or have any additional insight here? Maybe oddball/valueyoda/jschembs?
