Luke 532
Don't be surprised if we get a Lampert/other filing soon. A near million-share order flashed on the screen today, executed, and the trade data was removed. Could be related to some sort of dark pool transaction. Tisch adds 475,000 shares this week (only 100,000 of which was yesterday so not sure where the other 900,000 or so shares of that odd trade might be). http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1081916/000114036114016944/xslF345X03/doc1.xml

bobp
"The real-time Level 2 data showed the transaction around 3:45pm. The daily trade volume spiked on my other platform (Trade Architect via TD Ameritrade) but was then erased a few minutes later." If you're still interested, I see 873,000 printed at a price of 33.32 at 3:39 andabout thirty seconds later 87,300 printed at the same price. It looks like the first could have been an error. 100,000 printed a litlle earlier. I usually don't pay attention but you got me curious.
Luke 532
I usually don't pay attention but you got me curious. Neither do I as L2 is more of a trading tool, but thought I'd mention it just in case it was Lampert/another insider/both adding. I wouldn't be surprised to see more filings. 20ppy
I am afraid that Amazon can't afford SHLD. But let's just pretend for a moment, how much will Eddie sell SHLD for? I think it will be around 20 billions?

merkhet
Does anyone know what happened re Tisch's holdings? He was a 3.8 million share holder, but the most current Form 4 shows he only owns 900K+ shares? I'm confused.

(Too bad we don't have the names of this trusts so we could verify whether they've increased or decreased.) So then, by my count, 2,594,704 shares are owned by the Tisch brothers (outside of Thomas) via trusts. And 620,824 shares are owned by Thomas Tisch outright with an additional 933,478 shares owned via different trusts. That's a total of 4,222,774 shares including the foundation shares. I've updated the share count in my spreadsheet. BTShine
Interesting article on how sales tax has impacted sales at Amazon.com. This was a major advantage that Amazon had over SHLD, TGT, WMT, etc. that is now going away. The study was done at Ohio State University. http://time.com/72012/amazon-sales-tax/

BTShine
Is anyone able to get a quote on Sears Options that are pre-Lands' End spinoff? I understand how the options work (if exercised I'll get 100 SHLD and 30 LE shares). But, for some reason I can't get any price quotes.

Listed under ticker "SHLD1" - by the way, I don't think you can initiate a new position in this option chain. Only existing positions can be closed.
