As expected, this year's conference is the day before Fairfax's annual with a nice panel.

Actually, the conference doesn't conflict with the pre-events.  It will end at 3pm, and Norm and I have already booked a special venue in the Royal York (the private Railroad Car Bar) for his pre-dinner meet...which will run from 3pm to about 6:30pm.  Our dinner event will start around 6:30pm.  So you are golden and will enjoy yourself thoroughly!  Cheers!

There is a move afoot to have a pre-BGC-VIC get together the evening before the conference for those who are getting into town early.

 

I suggest an informal after-work/dinner for the few people arriving the day before (ie. Apr 9).  Let me know if you're interested.  Also, restaurant/food style suggestions are welcome.

According to the tentative agenda, the BGC-VIC will end at 4:30.  So, there is a small overlap.  But it should be quite convenient for the attendees to adjourn for a drink and a little value chit chat before dinner.  We'll be there waiting.  ;D
