For some reason TE connectivity looks really interesting to me.  It looks like its the leader in a fragmented industry with maybe 2 other big competitors (molex, Amphenol).  The valuation looks pretty cheap with strong free cash flow.    The CEO sounded very humble in the conference call when explaining their effort in expanding to mobile.  I am still trying to understand the industry segment better. Does anyone have any pointers to what to read to get a better handle on the industry?

This may be worth starting a new investment thread.

anyone know why he doesn't own any CHK? he's on the board.

He does not own any in the fund but he does own it. Pretty sure its 200,000 shares at around 25 a share.

ahh, makes sense then. Thanks man! :)

Here are the filings, ballpark of 27 per share

If you consolidate all of his/his family's holdings, he owns a total of 542,098 shares or about $9.1m worth of CHK.  If you're looking for insider holdings, look up the company in edgar and then click on insider transactions.  Once you've clicked on the record of the officer/director you're interested in, you'll be able to see the most recent form 4 which details a transaction and lists total holdings.  The most recent addition of shares was not a direct purchase, it was an award from CHK.
