Guest roark33
I sold most of my FIZZ at these prices, not because I don't think there is upside, but there is just so much more upside in other things out there now. AHA selling for 2.99 at my local store. FIZZ still at 3.99.

mwtorock
"The Board of Directors declared a minimum cash dividend of $3.00 per share to shareholders of record on December 4, 2020. The minimum cash dividend could be adjusted by notice to shareholders no later than December 2, 2020. FIZZ will trade ex-dividend on December 3, 2020 and the payment date for this distribution shall be on or before February 2, 2021." "The Board has requested additional analysis as a result of uncertainty regarding the consequences of increasing Covid-19 infections and future tax policy before determining the final payment amount per share." How about waiting for another week and making up your mind? ;)
Gregmal
LOL yea I had them doing $5 given the potential tax change and massive cash build over the past 2 Qs...these guys operate to the beat of a different drum for sure.
bilo
Super conservative initial div. figure vs. 2012, when they added a small amount of leverage and paid out 18% or so of the market cap. As of 10/31, cash should be near $400M, no debt. By payout date (absent a div) they will likely have some $450M cash. I'd think they could borrow $150M for next to free, leave $50M on balance sheet for conservative liquidity, and pay out $550M total or close to $12/share. Net debt of $100M is just .53% or so of trailing EBIT, could be paid down easily within 1 year. Are they super worried (perhaps appropriately) about covid or future covid-like disruptions? Leaving cash for some other strategic purpose? Super interesting. Guess we will find out soon enough.

mwtorock
??? Man, i am not against stocks up big, but no news no development? only possible for a short squeeze in the stock, but what is going to happen after the last short gets squeezed out? Not healthy... For a moment, i thought they get acquired this morning...
Gregmal
The force is strong on these. I've trimmed down a ton since the Feb/March buys. Will probably exit everything thats leftest today. $40-45 was as obvious a setup as you'll ever see.
