Kraven - Apologies for the above digression. Thanks for taking the time to patiently answering questions on your investment approach. I found it very helpful.

Vinod

Ha ha, no worries.  Hijack away.

FYI, at this point this thread has gotten long in the tooth, at least to me.  PM me if there are any other questions, but otherwise I think this thread has run its course.  I will make an exception for questions of higher importance on topics such as 80's pop culture and baseball (opening day!).

Kraven; Of course you do know that the GIANTS will repeat last years very bullish move!!!

Kraven: I believe you mentioned you were something like a corporate laywer in a previous life (could be mistaken). If so, how long did you do this? Did you enjoy it? How did you end up being a full-time value investor? Was there any particular event that triggered you (like earning a windfall bonus)?

Bump.

I would attribute all my success to clean living and a love of Yoo Hoo. Additionally, I am an expert on the movie The Sure Thing with John Cusack and once sat next to Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) on the train. I can lift over 20 pounds with ease and run faster than a few people.

PM me for any more specifics.

Everyone needs to take the immortal words of Sgt Hulka to heart, "lighten up, Francis".  I try to keep things loose.  Like George Washington, I never tell a lie.  Well, that's not completely true.  I don't really love Yoo-Hoo, so I'm admitting that.  It's just ok.

We're not stupid you know! It was obvious you were lying the moment you wrote that you sat on the train next to Wonder Woman! Why would anyone who can fly take the train! (umm, I'm sure she can do a thingie with that rope and fly somehow)

Maybe the invisible jet was in for service?  That, my friend, was the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  On a half empty train, a very well preserved and tall woman maybe in her early 60s was sitting next to me.  She seemed familiar, but I couldn't place her.  She spent the first hour of the ride (DC to NY) putting on makeup and then when that was almost complete, she then spent the rest of the time on the phone.  She was talking to her agent or manager or something about some part in a play or some kind of show.  She then turned and it all fell into place.  Here I was sitting next to one of the most iconic 1970s actresses - Lynda Carter whose posters graced many a young boy's wall.  You could see it in the eyes of every man in the car over about 40.  That glint of recognition as they realized we were in the presence of greatness and that she still looked good!

Wherefore art thou?  Did all the often wrong, never in doubt newbies make you decide to go radio-silent until the next bear market?

Kraven suffered severe disappointment in the first campaign of the Emoji War. I believe he retreated in order to plan the next phase of attack.

Just nothing to say.  I skim over most things and didn't see this until a friend mentioned it to me.

I can be reached by PM.
