Liberty his paranoid friend Teslacharts has released a 3-hour interview with Karl Hansen, one of the (at least 3) Tesla whistleblowers.

I'll just link to the Zerohedge article where you can find the podcast: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/organized-crime-drug-cartels-illegal-hacking-and-retaliation-tesla-whistleblower-tells-all

I think it's SpaceX that Musk uses the pedophile cannibals.  Tesla is just the hackers and assassins.

And of course, Neuralink is the mind reading hogs.

Rkabang, glad you bring on the subject of Neuralink. I guess you enjoyed the unveiling?

Yes, there should definitely be more people working on brain interfaces than there are. Just like like 20 years ago there should have been more people working on rocket design and electric vehicles.

$620 per share (post split) will see Tesla’s market cap eclipse that of the ten largest auto OEM’s combined

As mentioned somewhere in this thread I think - Tesla has 2 assembly factories globally.........Toyota has c.60, VW c.40 etc etc.

I love watching crazy in real time........

Tesla IMO needs to raise some capital pronto at these levels and take advantage of the moronic pricing. Their capex requirement to grow into anything approaching their valuation demands it.....as you can see above just to BE Toyota they need to build another 58 gigafactorries and no matter what anyone says they are not internally profitable

If today's price holds for long enough to trigger the incentive compensation equity tranche from this $450b valuation level, that would give him roughly 67.3 million split adjusted options with a $70 strike price from the 2018 plan.  Almost 30b valuation for just his equity awards in the past 2.5 years.

I'm not sure those are factored into his net worth on the calculations sites like Forbes have online, but they have him at 100b net worth now, so if they aren't factored in he hits $200b net worth at about the $750 price level, assuming it holds long enough for the options to kick in and they have met the operational requirements.

Exactly what I was thinking. Raising capital now would INCREASE the value of the stock because it would derisk it and decrease uncertainty. It would be reflexivity 101.

Musk should raise $25bn and increase the pace of all his projects.

I wonder now with stock split, and everything going well for Tesla (optically) and Vix being so low, if it is a good time to buy puts on tesla as a cheap hedge for the whole portfolio six months out.

The second catalyst is Sept 21 battery event and the stock will continue to rally towards that.

But do we really think that Tesla cannot loose 40% of its value if the tech rally takes a pause in the next few months. This won’t be a bet against Tesla, just a hedge against your tech gains using a tech name that has rallied non stop.

—————-

On the stock itself, I would say that Musk has beautifully weaponised its share price such that it is clear that being in the capital market (vs. Out) is a huge leverage and source of funding.

The old clunky OEMs use to have an advantage against Tesla by having their ICE business providing capital to their electrification projects. That advantage used to offset the headwinds they had on the transition by being knee-deep in the ICE business.

No more.

Now that legacy ICE business is only a disadvantage and distraction for the rest of clunckers.

Agree if your a once in a life time promotional CEO with no qualms flouting securities law or saying things that also flout the laws of physics ...being public allows you to create your own fiat currency via your stock

Institutions would only touch it with a steep discount to closing to allow them to hedge and dump to retail.....in advance of battery day makes sense with good momentum going into it......

+1, only he should raise $100B.  The market would give it to him and the stock price would barely go down.

Did it just add like its entire 52week low marketcap today due to the stock splitting? I haven't been doing this for too long, but this is getting a lil' silly. And it's all very entertaining.

Not silly. Makes total sense. Apple also added ~$100 billion today in its enterprise valuation simply for existing another 24 hours.

Why not $400 billion!??!!?

Edited to include AH numbers: It closed at 274.88 on the day it announced the split, which was less than three weeks ago on Aug 11.  It just hit $518 in today's AH seesion, so a gain of $243 per split adjusted share, or just under a 90% gain and something like 240 billion market cap added.  The stock split has gained them the equivalent of a Toyota market cap up through the start of trading today, and then today's pop increased the gain by a GM + Ford as well.

FWIW, i had a deep interest in the neuro"link" in the 1980s and have followed the research since. Where i was, some people (including the founder of neuropsychology) were building on the foundations laid by brain mapping obtained from electrical stimulation of different brain parts with the skull open and patients (often epilepsy patients) awake (procedures mostly done in the 1930s and 40s). By stimulating some parts, people would say that they smelled vanilla or felt shy...fascinating. Anyways, the area is exciting and promising but even the Great Musk may have a hard time cracking the nut on this one. For those interested, this was available today in the mass media:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/28/opinion/sunday/brain-machine-artificial-intelligence.html

FWIW, i think breakthroughs are likely to come with some kind of sensors outside of the brain.

---) Back to Tesla Motors on a roll

If you like to watch a bubble in real time with comps.......this is my favorite link..... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/1HflVng6sYIb6Gs4pOKiDGtqU5YJ2-hgdM4pRNaT62gs/htmlview#

Where does this end.....on its inevitable journey to the crash & burn hall of fame??!???

I'm sentimental at heart and feel that even crazy robinhood/Korean kids when they hear that Tesla is worth more than the top ten car companies in the world combined will start to take profits. Using the linked and then removing Ferarri because its more of a brand/merchandise company and BYD cause they do alot more than cars (which is enough to just sneak Ford in). I'm coming up with c.$581bn combined equity value (EV value would change the math of course)......Tesla then has another 25% rally to go to get there

So I'm setting my bubble popping top at about 25% above yesterdays close of $498........bubblicous pop topping lock your daughters up price target IMO of $623......this does not constitute investment or spiritual advise  ;D
